How To Climb Effciently

Posted by Christine Burke on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 Under: Family Trees For Genetic Genealogy

Do you remember climbing trees as a kid? I do!

It was so challenging to try all of the trees in the neighborhood and go as high as you could. After all, you had no responsibilities and were just having FUN, right?

Ah yes! But now, you are working and as a detective or investigator you've got way too many cases - and those are the active ones! Who has time to get to the cold ones? That's were I can help.

One of the things I love to do when using Genetic Genealogy to solve cold cases is to build trees - yes! Just like the good old days. But, I don't waste time walking out on branches or climbing (building up) the ones that make no sense. Nowadays, it's all about purposeful adventure!

Learning the best way to build, learn from family trees and choose the best tree software is one of the core lessons I share, along with several real world exercises, in my Genetic Genealogy For Law Enforcement class. Because time is precious and we want to make the most of it.

Speaking of time, and not wasting it...if you'd like to get a jump on closing more cases, join me for my next GGLE offering, scheduled in November 2022. It saves time and $$$ for your department as this one is held virtually, via Zoom.

If you are looking for more adventure, consider our January 2023 in person class in Carson City/Lake Tahoe, Nevada or any of our other U.S. offerings. We can also come to you!
